Sukhjit Gill is Head of Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Southern Cross, with over 18 years’ global experience across healthcare, financial services, and automotive. She has led transformative initiatives embedding risk culture, regulatory readiness, and ethical leadership, working closely with boards, regulators, and executives. Previously, she influenced culture change at Mercedes-Benz through global leadership programmes and has built trusted partnerships with the RBNZ, FMA, and international regulators. A strong advocate for diversity, Sukhjit founded Southern Cross’ women’s network, GatHER, and has mentored emerging leaders for over a decade. She is passionate about resilience, transformation, and purpose-driven leadership.
