Laura Marshall is Head of Information Security at Livestock Improvement Corporation, with 20 years’ experience in risk, governance, and culture change across the agricultural sector. Known for making the complex simple and relatable, she has implemented internationally recognised quality systems and embedded crisis, recovery, and information security frameworks that strengthen resilience. Laura is passionate about mentoring and empowering teams to deliver sustainable improvements while fostering a culture of confidence and engagement. Recognised as RiskNZ Professional of the Year (Highly Commended) in 2022 and recipient of the GDC Consultants IT Award in 2023, she now applies her expertise to cybersecurity leadership.
