Nicholas Fourie is Vice President of Information & Communication Technology at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, where he has led transformative digital initiatives since 2007. Recognised as New Zealand’s #1 CIO in the 2023 CIO50 Awards, Nicholas is celebrated for fostering innovation, inclusion, and team excellence—his team winning the Best ICT Culture & Inclusion Award in 2025. With a background in systems engineering and technology leadership, he previously worked with BHP Billiton in South Africa and holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Damelin School of Information Technology. Nicholas also contributes to academia as a former AUT Industry Advisory Board member.
