Originally from France, Fred moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2004.

Ranked 4th at the 2023 CIO50 NZ Awards, Fred has more than 20 years’ technology leadership experience across various industries such as Telecommunications, FMCG, Transport, FinTech, Entertainment and SaaS. Fred is currently CIO at Xero. Other notable positions include Chief Digital Officer at TAB New Zealand and GM Technology & Chief Information Security Officer at Air New Zealand.

Fred holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Auckland and have also attended executive education programmes at Stanford d.school and Harvard Business School.

Outside of work, Fred is all about embracing life. You'll find him soaking up the outdoors with his family, smashing out workouts at his CrossFit box or cheering on rugby matches.
